Treeing Tennessee Brindle
The Tennessee Tabby is a dog native to the Appalachian Mountains and the Ozarks in the United States. TPS is smart and fast. They have an innate instinct to pursue and arrest their victims, forcing them to climb a tree. People are warned when the prey is caught by barking. According to the Committee on Justice and Development, the expression “you are barking up the wrong tree” refers to this type of hunting. Agility exercises, daily walks, indoor hide-and-seek, games and ball hunting are all favorite activities for non-hunters TTBs.
