Norwegian Lundehund
Kalle, a rocky island off the coast of Norway, is home to lundhaund, a small rock. The islanders survived the long winters, hunting puffins and extracting them from crevices with the help of lundhound. Lundehund has six fingers (no pink claws) and extra pads on his paws allowing him to jump on the rocks. The land hound is intelligent, affectionate and has a flexible neck that allows the head to touch the spine while the ears move forward, backward or even closer. Check the dog’s ears regularly to avoid the accumulation of earwax and dirt that can lead to infection.
