Cane Corso
The Cane Corso is a large muscular dog that was found in 600 AD in Italy.
This dog was used for breeding, hunting and protection due to its athletic physique and strong work ethic. The Cane Corso almost disappeared in 1980, but inevitably became popular.
Loyal to its owner, the cane corso is wary of strangers, but an experienced dog owner should be able to deal with the protective nature of the dog.
