The Neapolitan Mastiff (also known as Mastino) is a large breed of dog that can weigh up to 150 pounds. The Mastiff was first bred in Ancient Rome to be the protector of the family and the estate, and the Mastiff has maintained this protective and daring trend for centuries.
These Mastiffs are dressed in black, brown, blue, gray or red coats, and the males can reach a foot in height. Life expectancy ranges from eight to ten years. Although these giants lend themselves to training, they tend to become destructive when they get bored, so they need a lot of activity and communication.
