Dandie Dinmont Terrier
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is the only breed of dog named after a literary character from Guy Manning’s 1814 novel. A book is harder to find than a dog that much easier to find. According to Dr. Klein, the breed Dandie Dinmont Terrier is one of the rarest in the United States. He is small but not sensitive, friendly and playful, one of the most docile dogs. They will make a good Urban dog if you can find one, but it is very difficult to find it. If you are lucky enough to find a breeder of this dog, you will probably find your best friend.
